My Experience as a Game Dev…

The Artist

I’ve spent the last four years working in the gaming industry, designing visuals for creatures, environments, worldbuilding, and everything in between. I love taking an idea and bringing it to life in ways not seen before. While I specialize in creatures and monsters, I can create almost anything you need, as you’ll see in my portfolio.

Beyond concept art, I’ve also taken on leadership roles, helping design art pipelines and working closely with asset artists to communicate feedback, changes, and adjustments. When needed, I’ve created development assets to fill gaps and help programmers better visualize their work. My background in 3D animation from college has been a huge asset in supporting this process.

The Designer

During my time at the studio, I also took on game design responsibilities alongside my art work. I developed my own concepts further, defining how players interact with them, as well as designing creature abilities, item behaviours, and a variety of game systems.

I really enjoyed my role as a junior designer and am more than capable of continuing in that space. Because I’m often the one creating the original concepts, I already have a strong understanding of the intended feel, function, and gameplay impact, which gives me a solid foundation to build thoughtful and cohesive designs.

If I seem like a good fit for what you’re looking for, I’d love to connect and help bring your ideas to life. I’m always excited to take on new challenges and create something unique, feel free to reach out!
